Aji-ikkan Ichimanryo (calcium oxide for food additives)
Aji-ikkan Ichimanryo is calcium oxide for food additives.
It has a low content of heavy metals such as lead and arsenic and has been used for many years as a strengthening agent as well as other food additives such as coagulant for konjac.
It is particularly recommended when making sashimi konjac.

Hanakobai, Kontarou, Shinyuki
(calcium hydroxide for food additives)
Three grades of calcium hydroxide for food additives are available: Hanakobai, Kontarou and Shinyuki.
All can be used as food additives, including as coagulants for konjac and other strengthening agents.
Hanakobai, in particular, is a product controlled under a quality standard even higher than the food additive standard.
The company has also acquired Kochi Prefecture's version of HACCP certification for the purpose of quality improvement.
